Eye Exams for Diabetic Patients
The American Diabetes Association recommends an annual dilated eye exam for all diabetic patients. This is a critical part of caring for diabetes. At Moody Eyes we have the equipment, expertise, and experience to provide this care. This is usually covered by your Major Medical Insurance.
Glaucoma Evaluations and Treatment
Glaucoma is a sight-threatening disease which experts say affects up to 5% of the general population. Those with a family history and high blood pressure are more at risk. African-Americans and Hispanics are more at risk, too. The major danger is glaucoma is there are no symptoms early in its progress. The ONLY way to determine if you have glaucoma is through a comprehensive eye exam and, usually, special testing, which we have available at Moody Eyes.
