My Vision for Moody Eyes

    In more than 30 years of practice I have cared for patients in a variety
of settings: private practice, surgical practice, LASIK center, inner-city health clinic and retail optical chains.  Each environment taught me a lot about patient care. In each of them I noted what patients liked and what they told me needed to improvement. 
    I began to envision a practice combining the best of retail optical and independent optometry practices. At Moody Eyes we have created a hybrid designed to give patients what they tell us they really want:  state-of-the-art, personalized eye care combined with a unique shopping experience...at prices they can afford.


The 50-Minute Experience
    Our goal at Moody Eyes is to create such an exceptional experience that you want to tell your friends and family about it. Everything we do, every frame we display, every piece of equipment, our simplified pricing, our forms and how we handle the few inevitable problems...all of it...is designed and implemented to this end.
    We recognize that few people want to commit more than an hour for their eye care appointment, so we've designed our 50-Minute Experience:
  • Patient forms are available on our website so you can fill them out in advance.
  • We pay careful attention to scheduling so we can stay on time.
  • We offer efficient examination procedures.
  • We make it easy to view and shop our frame displays.
  • We provide easy-to-understand package pricing on our most popular items.
  • Our checkout procedures are streamlined.

Our Staff
    It takes a great staff to create an exceptional experience. I believe in hiring and developing the very best staff possible. I am proud of each of them and receive many compliments from
our patients. 

Our New Home
    We've grown, and in order to keep up with the demand, we have expanded...next door. Come see our beautiful optical gallery with more frames, more sunglasses and other unique features. We have also increased our capacity and improved the flow in the doctor's area. Everyday previous patients tell us how much better they like the new facility.

    Dr. Stacy Hufnagel, and Dr. Brian Swift have joined Moody Eyes. With their broad range of patient care experiences, caring personalities and patient-friendly attitudes, the Moody Eyes team is even better prepared to help you - whether you have appointment, an eye emergency or want to walk in to see what's available. I've enjoyed getting to know our new doctors - and I believe you will, too.
    Dr. Heather Adams has left Moody Eyes in order to spend more time with her family.  We appreciate her contributions to our practice and wish her the best.

You guys do a great job! I work in customer service, and I know it makes a person feel good to be acknowledged for a job well done! I left this office a few years ago, and went to a few other offices, and each time they were rude, and always made me feel like i was bothering them if I had questions! Good morning----thank you for taking your time to help me see correctly.  I wear my glasses all day and most of the time I don’t even know I have them on.   The street signs are not as clear as I wish but I can see them much better and my over all sight is awesome.   When I remove my glasses it seems they cross and dance a bit but it is only a bit and then they are fine….I AM A HAPPY CAMPER.
